Welcome to Lambley House Sport Horses

We are pleased to announce the sale of Kuyano van het Eikehof Z.

After a successful collaboration with Dale Burnham previously, the opportunity arose for him to take on Kuyano - (🐴Leroy as he’s known to his close friends!) and we are delighted that he has been secured for Dale.

Purchased from Youhorse.Auction as a very green and gangly 4yo, he has all the scope and care to go a long way and we look forward to following his progress.

We wish Dale and his new co-owners the best of luck with him.

We are pleased to announce the sale of Jewel Hero LH.

Homebred out of Comthago’s Jewel, who is now with a 5* rider, and by Dourkhan Hero - who was the Vice World Champion at seven, claiming his first CSI5* Grand Prix at only ten years old. 🐴Barney looks to have all the potential to follow in his parents’ footsteps.

Thanks to the Ross Hill Sport Horse Auction platform for this sale.

We wish the new owner the best of luck with him. 🤩

Cantrell Arenas have been a big part of our upgrades to the farm over the years.

The first job undertaken for us was on our original 60x30m sand and rubber arena where the sand had become very hard on the base over the years and there was a drainage issue at one end. Darren did a fantastic job resurrecting the surface and repairing the drainage issue before we decided to upgrade the size of the arena, fencing and surface a few years later. This gave us a NEW 70x35m sand and fibre arena in 2017.
In 2021 we decided to upgrade again, this time extending the outdoor arena to ~ 70x75m keeping the existing surface and topping up with A LOT more Premium sand and fibre surface to complete the job. The finish of the kick boards, landscaping and drainage are to a fantastically high standard and we are delighted with the results of the upgrade.
During the period of working with Darren he also provided us with more sand and fibre surface which was originally used in our indoor arena but has now been relocated to our lunge arena. Darren also completed the groundwork for our horse walker upgrade including sourcing and laying of the concrete and all clay removal from site as well as providing more sand and fibre to go in the grids for the final surface on the 20m track.

We are grateful to be supplied by this TOP quality shavings company. We love using Jenkinson’s shavings for our horses, at home or away we can be certain our horses are bedded on the best quality shavings. We can be confident that their health isn’t compromised by unwanted dust particles entering their systems and that they are comfortable and dry in their stables.

We use a mixture of Natural & Small flake shavings in our stables.

A.W. Jenkinson Forest Products was formed in the mid-1960s when founder, Allan Jenkinson, took the initiative to collect unwanted sawdust and wood shavings from the sawmills around Cumbria and the Borders using a single tractor and trailer. He then transported the timber co-product to the area’s farms where sawdust was, and still is, in great demand as livestock and pet bedding. Today A.W. Jenkinson Forest Products and its associated businesses handle over 3 million tonnes of roundwood, woodchips, shavings, sawdust, bark, green waste and other timber co-products each year, collected from forestry sites, sawmills and other wood processing industries throughout the UK. A.W. Jenkinson Forest Products’ services link forestry, sawmilling, wood processing, building and demolition sectors with the demands of pulp, paper and panel manufacture, energy generation, agriculture, horticulture and amenity markets in an environmentally responsible cycle that makes maximum use of one of the world’s dwindling resources.
