Well Done Pyecombe

A lengthy drive down south to Pyecombe this weekend but it was well worth it!

A little windy to say the least but what a fantastic venue! It was lovely to attend a venue run by professional people that know what works and what doesn’t. This is reflected in the numbers attending and the no nonsense approach keeps things running smoothly. We enjoyed finishing at a reasonable time each evening and were pleased with the organised starts each morning.

We enjoyed a successful show with Manderville Crescendo getting placed each day in the Foxhunter’s building from 10th to 4th and picking up a win on the Saturday.

Homebred Grandee also gained double clears each day in the 1m30 classes and picked up a 7th and 9th place.

Young rising star Haya Loma took her first stay away all in her stride and claimed a 5th in the Discovery and a double clear in a Newcomers.

And finally Miss Piccachu cruised into 8th in the 1m30 on day one and was unlucky to miss out on a top finish on the Saturday.

A huge thank you to Shirley and the whole team at Pyecombe once again, and we hope to return in the near future, we just hope Nottingham moves a bit closer to Brighton!!
