We have returned from Azelhof in Lier, Belgium after two good weekends of jumping. This centre boasts fantastic facilities as well as world class jumping. We were lucky enough to be watching and learning from World Number 1 Daniel Deusser, and Harrie Smolders with the fantastic Emerald, of which we have an exciting 5yo mare by.
Manderville Crescendo excelled himself and was clear in every 6yo class picking up several placings including 8th in the 6yo Grand Prix.
Miss Piccachu stepped things up a level recording some good clears in the 1m35s and a double clear and 13th place in the 1m40.
Just A Dream also stepped up to 1m40 the second week and he was clear, albeit a little on the slow side!
Grandee for Michael gained some consistent form in the 7yo classes with several clear rounds setting him up for the season ahead.
This weekend we head to Weston Lawns with Grandee and some of our younger generation for their first outing. Then next week Miss Piccachu and Just A Dream are at Blue Chip for the 1m35, B&C Final and the Grand Prix, and Manderville Crescendo is in the Karma. Let’s hope they’re not too upset going back indoors and we can continue our good form.
